Initial Meeting
​
It is important to get together for chat to make sure I am the right Doula for you at this very special time. Also, to discuss what you see my role as being during your birth. Coffee and cake always important too.
Phone & Email Support

Always happy to answer questions and once on call (from 38 weeks) I will be available 24/7.
2 Antenatal Visits
​
Whether you are planning a hospital, birthing centre or home birth, we have time to chat in your own home at a time that suits you. There are many things to cover from your birthing preferences to how you wish me to support you The physiology of birth, coping methods. If appropriate take time to reflect on previous births and much more.
Professional Information
​
Doulas use evidence based research to ensure you have all the information you need to make your choices.
​
During labour
​
I will come to your home or hospital wherever and whichever is needed. I will stay with you throughout the birth supporting you and your birthing partner physically and mentally.
Baby’s first feeding Support
​
I am here to help with skin to skin and positioning for a good latch during the first feed.
Postpartum follow-up visit
​
Generally within 24 hours or whenever you are ready after returning home I will come to see how you and your new baby are. This is a chance to reflect on the birth your feelings and any initial concerns you may have if any.
Postnatal Doula
​
I am here to help with whatever is necessary to support feeding your precious little bundle and maximise the bonding process. If you need to shower to sleep to eat I can help. When you just need to rest I can help. If the washing needs hanging up I can help. I am a good listener too.
As a Doula, I Do Not:
Perform any Medical Tasks
​
I will help to make sure your needs are fulfilled and that you feel supported and listened too. I can adapt to what the situation and circumstances dictate.

Make decisions for you
​
I will have helped you make your own decisions with the facts and evidence based information. I do not judge and will respect and support your decisions.
Costs
Basic Birth Package £960
Which Includes:-
Weekly antenatal sessions, both in person and via Zoom
One 2 hour postnatal session
On call period

£16.00 per hour (minimum 3/4 hours per day)

Areas Covered
​
I am based between Salisbury and Warminster and will travel up to 20 miles or 45 minutes. I can be flexible.
​
I am also able to cover SW London, Richmond, Twickenham, Kingston areas.
​
